Hadouken! and Roni Size announced for Freeze

Big names have been announced for the Freeze festival, including Bedouin Soundclash, Skindred, The Nextmen, Krafty Kuts, and more.

Hadouken! will play on the last night of Fso4 London Freeze. More acts for Sunday will be released soon. Roni Size will headline opening night's dance line-up, and will appear with MC Jakes. Also on the dance line-up for Friday night are The Nextmen with MC Wrec, Krafty Kuts alongside MC Dynamite, Jaguar Skills, Scratch Perverts, Charlie G, DJ Klimax, and MC Benny C.

Headlining The Relentless Energy Drink Stage on Saturday are Bedouin Soundclash, with Skindred as the headline act on Sunday.

Andrew Topham, Event Director has said "Last year, our unique offering of world class winter sports combined with cutting-edge global and UK acts attracted over 20,000 festival-goers to the action at Battersea. This year's event will see our biggest and best line up to date, and we are delighted to announce the first acts to perform under the iconic towers. Look out for further acts to be announced, including the headliners for Saturday and Sunday."

Battersea Power Station will be turned into a real life ski resort with the London leg of the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, International Freestyle Ski Comp, alpine themed bars and 2 live music stages including the Main Stage Tent and the Relentless Live Stage.

The main crowd-pleaser of the event is the 17m table top real snow jump created for the LG London Big Air Event, part of the LG FIS (International Ski Federation) World Cup. While this event is for snowboarders there will also be some amazing skiing action. The run down of events includes The LG London Big Air, The International Freestyle Ski Event, and The Battle of Britain (BOB).

There will be a resort style retail village selling all the well known brands latest stock for the winter season ahead. There will be a number of bars and places to get food as well as winter themed chill out zones.

The festival kicks off on Friday with a Battle of Britain ski and snowboard contest. The best of British talent will battle it out for the title of top dog in the UK. Last year's winner's Paddy Graham and Jamie Nicholls will return to defend their titles.

On Saturday the LG London Big Air event, part of the FIS LG Snowboard World Cup, takes centre stage: the main competition for snowboarders. All riders taking part can score crucial ratings points in their quest to become World Champions. Last year's event winner and World Cup Champion, Stefan Gimpl (AUT) will be returning to defend his title.

The International Freestyle Ski event on Sunday features some of the world's most accomplished skiers, with 2009 winner Russ Henshaw confirmed to appear at this year's event. Other names competing for the $10,000 include Bobby Brown, Jacob Wester and Simon Dumont.

This year's London Freeze (Freesports on 4 FREEZE) the snow sport and music event which returns to Battersea Power Station in London from Friday 29th October to Sunday 31st October.
